River Rescue is a  makeover of the original ZX Spectrum game written by Phil Snell and published by Thorn EMI Video in 1984.

The game is easy to play but difficult to master. Navigate your speedboat along the river avoiding or destroying the various hazards. Land at a jetty on the North bank and rescue a scientist. Further down the river land at the South bank and your scientist will scurry off to safety. Dare you gamble and carry more than one scientist at a time? One false move and  they'll all end up in that big laboratory in the sky!
