When video cameras first became popular I just had to have one. A brand new outlet for my creative / childish mind. My first videos mainly consisted of a friend of mine, Lee (see “That Old Black Magic” video) and myself acting the goat to some ancient old tunes that I’d dug up from somewhere, most likely my dad’s tape collection. I was bitten by the video bug. The camera went with me everywhere, and in the early 2000's I even set up my own wedding video business - which is where "Langford Video" and now "Langford Productions" originated. You can see my YouTube channel by clicking the link below, or watch same of my favourites here.

BREAKFAST WITH ROB AND TREV
When I made a wedding video I always tried to include something fun (wedding videos are notoriously boring)! For this one, rather than just filming the groom and best man getting ready I thought I'd recreate that famous Morecambe and Wise sketch of the pair preparing breakfast to the music of "The Stripper".
THE WEDDING OF LES AND HELEN
This is the opening credits to the video, with the bride and groom getting ready and arriving at the church. I made hundreds of wedding videos, but very rarely did everything turn out just right. The song (ELO's Mr Blue Sky) fit the video perfectly - especially with the choir singing towards the end.
YOU CAN'T STOP THE BEAT
This has to be my favourite video of them all. A compilation of lots of short clips (of varying quality) of my boys over around six or seven years, meticulously cut to the tune of 'You Can't Stop The Beat' from the Hairspray movie. It might go on a bit for those who don't know us, but I love it!
ISLE OF WIGHT 2004
I always loved this video. It's the last holiday I had with the boys before they moved to Australia, and the song used (Those Good Old Dreams by the Carpenters) goes with the video so well. The video made my mum cry - which was always a sign that I'd done well!
